The Z-Grav decompression table was developed by Carlos Bacerrios, a world-renowned medical researcher and one of the first people to discover spinal decompression. Its variety of decompression programs and adjustable variables allow for treatment of pain related to chronic and severe conditions such as disc herniations, disc bulge, degenerative disc disease, facet arthrosis, sciatica, and stenosis.
The Z-Grav spinal decompression table specializes in treating the following conditions:
A condition wherein the spinal canal (the spaces through which the spinal cord runs) narrows and compresses the spinal cord, cauda equina, and/or sciatic nerve roots. Numbness or pain may result.
A symptom including pain that may be caused by general compression and/or irritation of one of five nerve roots that give rise to the sciatic nerve, or by compression or irritation of the sciatic nerve itself. The pain is felt in the lower back, buttock, and/or various parts of the leg and foot.
A medical condition affecting the spine, in which a slight out-pouching of the disc is apparent without any significant herniation. The bulge in many cases applies pressure to a nerve(s) causing back and or extremity pain.
A medical condition affecting the spine, in which a tear in the outer fibrous ring of an inter-vertebral disc allows the soft, central portion to bulge out. In most cases, the extruding material applies pressure to the nerve(s) causing chronic back pain and or extremity pain.
In most cases the natural wear and tear of the spinal discs. This can occur due to age and the drying out of the discs over time, leading to the discs losing support and function. Degenerative disc pain is usually felt in the legs, thighs and buttocks, lower back and neck.
