Chiropractic care has always been a part of the doctors' lives. One of the early pioneers of chiropractic was their great-great uncle, Dr. L. H. McLellan, D.C., born September 14, 1892, in northern Wisconsin. “Uncle Lewie” was a graduate of Palmer, the secretary/treasurer of the Arizona State Examining Board, and a teacher at Ratledge Institution in California. He was also a friend and classmate of Dr. Clarence Gonstead and the personal chiropractic physician of Dr. Mabel Palmer, wife of Dr. B.J. Palmer.
Dr. Samuel Sekanick of Midwest Spine and Nerve Center - East graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire, with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. He received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida. He was also a Certified Personal Trainer.
Dr. Christopher Sekanick of Midwest Spine and Nerve Center - West graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire with a Bachelor of Science degree. He received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida, Cum Laude. His primary focus of practice is chronic back and neck conditions, posture curve correction, and spinal stability.
Both doctors are certified by the state of Wisconsin as Nutritional Counselors.
